TT AB Military and Defence Connectors

TT Electronics AB connectors can be found across all major military land systems, including communications, control equipment, and power distribution in land vehicles and generator sets.

The AB05 range is assembled by Aerco. It’s based on Mil-C-26482 and conforms to the stringent requirements of BS9522 F0017. It’s miniature size, bayonet coupling and IP67 sealing make it the ideal choice for applications across multiple military platforms.

An extensive range of Mil-C-5015 connectors are offered, both the direct equivalent to the threaded MS version, SBMS, and the positive bayonet coupling version, ABB.

Based on Mil-C-26482 series 1, but BS spec provides additional design advantages

The high temperature version HTABB contains a flouro-carbon insulator which extends the temperature to +190˚C

SBORD Intervehicle Trailer Connectors:

NATO military 12 pin connector conforming to STANAG 4007 and DEF-STAN 25-5/3
Designed to be the standard electrical connection between a military vehicle and towed trailer or artillery equipment
Rugged construction features a heavy rubber moulded body with brass inner shell
Quick and efficient push-pull coupling
Operating temperature -55˚C to +100˚C
Available with a full range of accessories: protective caps, grommet nuts, sealing gaskets and splash proof covers

SBORD Intervehicle Power Connectors:

Designed to provide a quick, fool proof method of restarting disabled military vehicles in the field
Utilises a vehicle to vehicle batter jumper system
Rated at 1000A
Features a single twin cable and coaxial contact system to ensure compatibility between NATO vehicles
Single snap-in receptacle allows for quick connection
Tough single piece rubber moulded construction provides protection against severe battlefield environments
Tight seal protective caps make the connectors impervious to engine fuel and lubricants

SBMS Connectors:

Conforms to the requirements of Mil-C-5015 threaded specification
Intermateable and interchangeable with Mil-C 5015 connectors, but with improved environmental sealing and reduced overall size
Meets the requirements of DEF-STAN 59.35 PATT 121 and the Military Vehicle Engineering Establishment, M.V.E.E.
Excellent interfacial and rear sealing via resilient neoprene inserts and wire sealing grommets

UKAN Connectors:

Based on Mil-C 5015, but with a high grade silicone rubber insert extending the operating temperature from -55˚C to +190˚C
2 shell materials are available: aluminium alloy and mild steel
With the inclusion of fireproof inserts, the steel versions will withstand a flame temperature of 1100˚C for 20 minutes
Anti-vibration coupling nut
Versions are available with insulators that are resistant to any kerosene based fluids
High performance crimp contacts are available in silver or gold plating, with each size accommodating several wire sizes
