ABMP High speed data connector

01 Sep 2026

In today’s military ground vehicles and rail platforms, dependable signal and high-speed data connectivity is mission-critical. The ABMP modular bayonet lock connector from TT Electronics AB Connectors Ltd, is designed to deliver that reliability in demanding environments, combining proven reverse bayonet-lock technology with a flexible modular architecture for modern electrical systems.

Based on the established ABCIRP, MIL-DTL-5015 and VG95234 connector styles, ABMP supports rugged applications where shock, vibration, sealing and fast maintenance matter. Its positive bayonet lock enables quick, secure mating and disconnect, while crimp removable contacts help simplify assembly, repair and vehicle overhaul programmes.

The range can accommodate combinations of coax, twinax, triax, quadrax and OcTrain modules, allowing engineers to consolidate multiple signal and Ethernet links within a single connector. This makes ABMP a practical choice for space-constrained vehicle electronics, onboard communications, control systems, signalling equipment and other performance-critical interfaces.

For harsh operating conditions, ABMP offers IP67 cable sealing through a stepped wire sealing grommet, low fire hazard thermoplastic insulators conforming to EN45545 HL3 R22/R23, and operation across a wide temperature range from -55°C to +125°C. The connector family has also been shock and vibration tested to BS EN 61373 Category 1, Class A for railway environments.

Whether specified for defence land systems, rolling stock or infrastructure and signalling projects, the ABMP series gives design teams a robust, serviceable and configurable interconnect solution. Aerco can support customers in selecting the right ABMP configuration for their application, helping to keep critical data and signal connections protected, reliable and ready for service.
