Product Manager

Aerco is a stockist distributor of electrical and electronic components serving high-reliability manufacturing companies across the UK. The business is growing and we now have a vacancy for a Product Manager to join our team.

Our Product Managers are key links with our Franchises and ensure that the products we offer to market are relevant, promoted effectively, are well stocked and priced to sell profitably.

You Will:

  • Drive our Marketing Communications including web site content for your product ranges.
  • Control our stock inventory of components.
  • Build price lists to achieve growth and profitability.
  • Work with our suppliers to launch new and updated product ranges to market.
  • Engage with customers to maintain awareness of market needs and participate in major sales negotiations.

About You:

  • Can communicate effectively in writing, verbally and through electronic media.
  • Have a strong desire to succeed in all aspects of marketing and business.
  • Have great analytic skills and are proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Have experience of working with electrical or electronic components
  • Have an enquiring mind and seek to understand the mechanics and motivations of the market and its individuals.

Employment Terms

Location: Aerco’s location is near Horsham, West Sussex. You will be able to work remotely though regular attendance in the office will be necessary.

Salary: circa £45,000 pa plus bonus scheme up to £10,000 pa

Benefits: Statutory pension, 20 days + statutory days holiday, rising annually to 30 days maximum.

Business Development Manager

Are you confident with excellent customer service and relationship building skills? Do you have a strong desire to succeed? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you.

We are a stockist and distributor of electrical components, looking to appoint a Business Development Manager on a full time, permanent basis.

Our BDMs drive our sales activities by creating great relationships with our customers and awareness of their needs and the products we can supply. They take the lead in negotiating with customers to win profitable orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer requests for quotation, evaluate the options and issue quotes.
  • Track open quotations and negotiate to win profitable sales.
  • Learn the needs and wants of key customers and position Aerco to be their favourite supplier.
  • Continuously learn about Aerco’s supported franchises and products.
  • Provide post-sales support to your customers to maximise repeat business.

Aerco's DESIGN SUPPORT service enables customers and suppliers to benefit from the product knowledge we have, minimising effort in product selection for design engineers.


About You:

  • Have great interpersonal skills and can build winning business relationships.
  • Have an enquiring mind and seek to understand the functions and features of the components we deal with.

Employment Terms

Location: Aerco’s location is near Horsham, West Sussex. You will be able to work remotely though regular attendance in the office will be necessary.

Competitive Salary plus bonus scheme, £28,000 + up to £12,000 bonus pa.
