Delta Axial EC Fans

The push towards eco-friendly heating systems has driven the adoption of heat pumps utilizing low global warming potential (GWP) refrigerants such as R290 (Propane). Delta's Axial EC Fans are tailor-made for the primary and secondary fan applications within heat pump modules that use low GWP refrigerants.

Refrigerants are key in reducing greenhouse gas emissions, with a shift from high-GWP Hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) to natural alternatives like propane and CO2. Due to the highly flammable nature of natural refrigerants, their high flammability necessitates stringent safety and design standards.

Suitable for both residential and industrial applications and ranging from 120mm to 800mm. These fans meet safety standards for A2L and A3 refrigerants, which means they are less likely to ignite, and have over 90% energy efficiency with low power consumption. The advanced blade design ensures maximum airflow and minimal noise, excelling in performance and reliability.

For industrial settings where secondary fans are often used inside heat pump systems, Delta offers ATEX-certified EC fans, with high-level Ingress Protection options.  They operate safely in potentially hazardous environments, turning on when leak detection systems sense refrigerant levels, as mandated by F-gas regulations.
