EN3660 qualified backshells now available from Aerco

Aerco is pleased to announce that it can now supply high performance connector backshells qualified to the EN3660 specification.

Applications in demanding military, aerospace and marine environments require reliable and ruggedised interconnect products, and qualification to EN3660 ensures these requirements are met. Aerco is now able to meet these demands through its partnership with TE Connectivity and their recently qualified products.

EN3660 parts are designed to be compatible with connectors based on specifications EN2997 and EN3645, the latter being focused on Mil-DTL-38999 series 3. Options include strain relief and cable sealing in both straight and 90 degree variants, heatshrink adaptors, and EMI/RFI screen termination outlets.

For durability and long service life, parts are available in several materials and finishes, notably nickel or cadmium plated aluminium shells or passivated stainless steel. Together with the choice of styles, range of shell sizes and ease of installation, EN3660 parts are an excellent choice when looking to secure harness wiring systems in harsh environments.
