Network Rail approved ‘Plug & Play’ connectors
The ABCIRH range of connectors from TT Electronics AB Connectors are fully approved by Network Rail for connection of cables to lineside signalling equipment, as specified in NR/L2/SIG/30027. This approval enables the ABCIRH range to be used by any companies supplying trackside equipment such as Plug & Play couplers, disconnection boxes or signalling equipment components.
Aerco holds a full inventory of the approved parts as detailed in the Network Rail harness drawings referenced by SE-SK numbers.
The full list of stock constitutes connectors, backshell adaptors, heatshrink boots, protective caps, contacts, gaskets, filler plugs and dummy contacts.
To support the industry, Aerco makes a range of options available to its customers:
- Ordering under Network Rail SE-SK harness drawings, covering wired plugs and receptacles, and interconnects and leads
- Parts kitted with SE-SK labelling or as per customers’ own part numbering system
- If kits not required, individual components can be supplied
- Cross referencing from alternative manufacturers to AB approved parts, all of which are inter-changeable/inter-mateable
- Parts are available either to an agreed schedule or, for urgent requirements, on a next day delivery
