Aviation industry to benefit from flexible reel sizes from Aerco

The recertification of Aerco’s Quality Management System EN9120:2018 (technically equivalent to AS9120B) allows for the ‘split’ and respooling of cable for the aviation and aerospace industry. 

Industrial cable and wire are usually manufactured in large reel sizes to lengths of up 1000 metres.  These are often much larger than the end user needs.  Aerco is now able to offer customers the option of smaller reels, matching their requirements.  This reduces waste, reduces inventory and the need to store more than necessary which ultimately saves money.  All with the reassurance of a certificate of conformity and traceability to source, under their AS9120 certification.
