Smiths PCB Connectors

KA Series:

  • MIL-DTL-55302 compliant PCB connector.
  • 2, 3, 4 and 5 row options with 17 to 490 way hyperboloid contacts.
  • Endurance 100,000 mating cycles.
  • Contacts removable from wiring side (front release, rear removable).
  • End guides provide alignment and 36 user changeable keying combinations.
  • Immunity to shock and vibration fretting; shock tested to MIL-DTL-55302 para 4.5.14.
  • Terminations styles include crimp, right angle and straight through board solder and solder cup.
  • Nominal contact current rating at 4A.
  • Temperature range -55°C to +125°C.

2mm/cPCI Series Connectors:

  • Interchangeable with cPCI COTS Systems. Modular design for standard 3U/6U configurations.
  • Immune to shock and vibration fretting. Keying feature for proper mating.
  • Reverse gender to commercial 2mm products.
  • EMI/RFI shielding.
  • Pitch: 1.0 to 2.0 mm.
  • Contact Positions: 50 to 100, 101 to 150. Contact Termination: Press Fit, Straight Through Board Solder (TBS).

C9394 Series Connectors

  • Metal shelled modular design solution up to 400 contacts.
  • High shock and vibration proof: no micro interruptions - test: 2ns.
  • Conforms to MIL-DTL-55302 general requirements.
  • Contact Positions: 151 to 200, 201 to 300, > 300. Pitch: 1.0 to 2.0 mm.
  • Contact Termination: Flex Termination, Right Angle Through Board Solder (TBS), Surface Mount Straddle.
  • Nominal Current: 4A to 7A.

CMD Series Connectors:

  • High contact density, light weight connector, conforming to MIL-DTL-55302 general requirements and TPR 02013.
  • High shock and vibration proof (no micro interruptions - test: 2ns).
  • Contact Positions: Up to 50, 50 to 100, 101 to 150, 151 to 200, 201 to 300, > 300. Pitch: 1.0 to 2.0 mm.
  • Contact Termination: Right Angle & Straight Through Board Solder (TBS), Surface Mount Termination (SMT).
  • Nominal Current: 1A to 3A.

HDLP Series Connectors:

  • High density, lightweight PCB connector; 2000 mating cycles. Polarized and scoop proof insulator.
  • Low component count & low insertion force. IP67 sealing when mated.
  • Contact Positions: Up to 50, 50 to 100, 101 to 150. Pitch: 1.0 to 2.0 mm.
  • Contact Termination: Straight Through Board Solder (TBS), Surface Mount Termination (SMT).
  • Nominal Current: 1A to 3A.

HPD and HPF Series Connectors:

  • High reliability signal PCB connectors with 17 to 160 contact positions.
  • Pin size/current: 0.6mm/4 amp; 2.54mm pitch.

HPW Series Connectors:

  • Mixed power & signal PCB connector, qualified at a system level on both civil and military programs.
  • Rugged design with Signal & power high reliability contacts.
  • Contact Positions: 50 to 100, 101 to 150. Pitch: 2.0 to 4.0 mm, > 4.0 mm.

KMC Series Connectors:

  • ESCC 3401/039 ESA qualified, high density interconnection with up to 162 ways.
  • Termination styles: wire wrap, solder cup and through board solder.
  • Polarized guiding devices, 16 keys available. Fretting proof - endurance.
  • Contact Positions: Up to 50, 50 to 100, 101 to 150, 151 to 200. Pitch: 1.0 to 2.0 mm.
  • Contact Termination: Crimp, Straight Through Board Solder.
  • Nominal Current: 1A to 3A.

KPVX Series Connectors:

  • High Speed up to 16 Gbps. Compatible with VITA 46, 47 and 78 (Space) standards.
  • Flexible modular design for standard 3U and 6U as well as custom configurations.
  • Faceplate to Protect Daughtercard Pins; Press-fit termination.
  • Contact Positions: 50 to 100, 101 to 150. Pitch: 1.0 to 2.0 mm.

Intercompact Series Connectors
