TE Connectivity DBAS 9 Connector

TE Connectivity’s DEUTSCH DBAS 9 connector is designed for mission-critical performance in the world’s harshest environments. Developed for both space and military applications, it combines the proven reliability of the DBAS 7 connector with the flexibility of standard MIL-DTL-38999 inserts and AS39029 signal and power contacts.

This next-generation push-pull connector delivers secure, tool-free locking with a distinctive audible and tactile click, ensuring confidence in installations where visual access is limited. Capable of withstanding vibration, shock and temperatures from –55 °C to +200 °C, the DBAS 9 provides dependable performance in applications such as missile umbilicals, rocket systems and pilot ejection seats.

Designers benefit from a wide range of shell types, insert arrangements and surface-finishing options, offering exceptional configuration flexibility. Compact, scoop-proof designs support blind mating and ease of installation in confined spaces, while integrated backshells simplify the bill of materials and reduce overall system weight—an important factor in both aerospace and defence platforms.
