TE Deutsch DMC-MD connectors

The DMC-M series is a rectangular, modular, multi-contact connector system that offers customers excellent design flexibility and range of application.

They are available in lightweight aluminium alloy or composite shells to minimise weight in the installation.

Modules simply click-in allowing for easy assembly, maintenance, or design changes
Cadmium plated or RoHS compliant electroless nickel shells
Plug and receptacle shells can contain 2 or 4 modules and are available in standard or rack and panel format
Shielded DMC-MD plugs provide excellent 360˚ EMC protection
Hexagonal keying component prevents mis-mating and allows for 36 keying possibilities
Modules available with signal, power, coax, quadrax, fibre optic or thermocouple contacts as well as high speed ethernet configurations
PCB and crimp contacts in sizes AWG 24 up to AWG 8
Female and male contacts possible in the same connector half
EN4165 and BACC65 compliant, and meets FAA requirements for smoke, toxicity and flammability

The DMC-MD has evolved to become a standard connector in operation right across commercial aerospace. It’s design flexibility, ease of use, and lightweight in comparison to its capability make it the ideal choice for many cabin applications. These include Wi-Fi and power, galleys, seat actuation, in-flight entertainment systems and cabin management systems.
