Circular Connector Accessories:

TE Connectivity’s Polamco connector protective caps provide a ruggedised high reliability solution for sealing unmated connectors in demanding environments. For both harness and fixed equipment applications, they are compatible to seal on all major miliary connector specifications. A comprehensive range is available, including a full choice of lanyards, attachments, plating finishes, shell sizes and either artic or standard knurl grips.

As well as protective caps, the accessories available include dummy receptacles, blanking covers, bandstraps and wire mesh tape, and split banding rings.

Rectangular Connector Accessories:

TE Polamco offers an extensive array of high reliability rectangular connector backshell solutions for the most demanding of environments. With the connectors being commonly used across defence and space applications it’s critical that the backshells meet stringent specifications. To this end, TE Polamco’s D-subminiature backshells mate with Mil-DTL-24308 and ESCC3401/002, and the micro-D range mates with Mil-DTL-83513.

To aid design flexibility parts are available with a wide range of different features. Split shells enable ease of assembly, extended shells allow for loopbacks or the inclusion of additional electronic components. Multiple cable entry angles are available, in circular or elliptical profile to suit cable requirements, and thin flange versions allow for important weight savings. With all of these, hardware fixing options are numerous and further allow for design variation and/or ease of use.
