VG95234 Type Connectors available now

Aerco has expanded its stock of popular ABB circular connectors from TT Electronics, enhancing its offering to meet customer demand effectively.

The ABB range is based on specification Mil-C-5015, meeting all the performance criteria of that range but with the increased security of a reverse bayonet locking mechanism. It features identical panel mounting dimensions and contact layouts with the corresponding MS types. It has excellent environmental protection using a dynamic seal under the coupling nut and individual wire sealing grommet in the rear accessory assembly. Additionally, a wavy washer under the coupling nut ensures excellent shell-to-shell continuity which, together with a range of back shells, provides high levels of EMI/RFI screening.

As a result of their rugged performance, these connectors are now used extensively across a range of military fighting vehicles. Several current ground vehicle programmes call up specification VG95234 and the good news for users is that the ABB range is made in accordance with this spec. ABB parts are cadmium plated or have RoHS-compliant zinc cobalt protection. They are available from Aerco with either crimp or solder contacts and can be kitted with a full range of accessories, including strain relief clamps, heatshrink adaptors, screened back shells, and protective caps.

With increasing pressure from tight deadlines and demanding schedules on VG95234 approved parts, customers can now turn to Aerco to obtain short lead times on corresponding ABB parts meeting the same requirements.
